When I was in college, I noticed a few girls who would every so often wear a man's tie around their waist like a belt. Do they actually use it to help hold up their pants, or is this just an odd fashion trend? Do they make men's ties specifically for this fashion trend if it is one? Where are they sold?

OK so mens fashion changes from one decade to the next but it never really CHANGES does it?
Ties or lapels might get a little wider or narrower, there might be an extra button or one less but it's pretty much the same stuff. It seems to me that mens fashion has changed very little since my grandfathers generation with few exceptions. People dress more casual these days but I expect that unless we grow extra limbs or something our grandchildren will be wearing much the same stuff as we are wearing today. OK I've talked enough, what do you think?

I am looking for a website for young fashion designers in Thailand. I am looking mainly for mens fashion ie t-shirts, shirts, business and casual, cargo pants, denim jeans and shorts, shoes and ties. I have looked on the govnt website and it seems to be up and running with no individual web addresses. Anyone who has any information much appreciated.

I am 19 years old and consider myself a pretty trendy guy. I go one of the wealthiest churches in my area. People there are always well-dressed and sometimes how you look is an important factor in how well you are able to socialize with others. And today i got up to go to church and realized my usual Church garb(khakis with a polo or button up shirt) a was a little outdated and just not classy enough.

So, now I am looking to restock my closet with nice clothes(head to toe) that will help me stand out. I am a pretty rugged looking guy, sporting a healthy beard, and I kinda want something that will my chiseled appearance. I am looking for something that somewhere between the polos and khakis and the ultra dressy blaisers and dress pants. nothing school-boyish i am to mature for that. i want to look nice, not "oh, look who got dressed up today." any advice will help. I am impartial to ties.

I admit not being fashion sensible when it comes to dressy or formal wear but why is it so hard to find a nice light solid color double breasted suit? Now it days it seems everythings patterned or multi colored or striped. And even if I find a color I like again there's some sort of pattern & I'm a plain simple guy just give me a solid light colored suit. What's so wrong with light or even solid colors ties or suits or whatever its all dark all striped or patterned & so on.
I checked out a few sites & the only solid color tie I could find was Black or what looked like blood red sorry but (wth). Ok Black I guess can go with most everything but red & deep red. Ok maybe its me & again my inability to have dressy fashion sense but what happened to the days of solid suits. Am I that behind on the times that solid color non striped or patterned ties & suits are now out? Maybe I'm to picky but if just figure if I buy one & especially if I pay a good amount of money I might as well like wearing it & feel it works for me & I'm told that I look better in lighter colors. When Blue & green I'm told bring out my eyes but can't say I found a suit in those colors that works on me. They might personal opinion & my fashion sense tells me other wise LOL. I dont mind some small pattern on a tie but especially the suit part I am firmly solid or nothing lol well ok give me my thuggish baggy pants.
